3 beautys and a bad egg

we played the tap n spile on 24th nov for our xmas stint a packed house with our peavy pa system excellent times what a great sound full house, we had craig stay theres a great bond in the band, we then played the bird in hand 1st dec where we rocked hard again to a full house, even got a girl called laura on drums craigs been having fun onstage and laura stanyer is rockin her new bass hard as well as singing, we then played the rose n crown not as full as other two but a fun gig acoustic and beautiful, we even sang happy birthday to craig...all followed up by eddies rock bar in bham who decided to be tossers i would advise any band not to play there we didnt get the opportunity after being turned away at the door numpty la sods..either way our band has a vibe now we are enjoying our plaing n rock n roll ... highlights and year overview to come :) this is the best our band has been and i love it especially our tune sunflowers in the rain :)

gigs gigs and errrm more gigs

Crikey its been hectic few months me craig n laura really gelling now, we have recorded n released our e.p well some of it and the songs can be heard at www.myspace.com/nakedsonday we played great festival in eccleshall hammered it down we were in a tent crazy good response every gig we play people dance, wee cracked out the tackeroo hednesford,the tap n spile that was ace, rangers beer festival got bit drunk before hand had 2 chicks singin n dancin onstage with us, played sunn inn festival good time john campbell came down with derrick holt and then the cottage of content that was lot of fun 2, we have been writing n rehearsing new tunes, things like sattelites n vices, out on the road again, lauras new one tat2d by you etc etc and did i mention we appeared in KERRANG magazine i love this band :) Some crazy stories cops closed our last show early was some trouble at the pub, crazy drunk gus love singing sweet home onstage with us at the tap..Moorlands radio great although we got there bit late drove round perimiter of Stoke haha and craig fell over instantly after telling me i had girly hair hes right :) laura and me celebrate one year of marriage next week woo hoo :)

well we played the morrisman on saturday the something of feb musta been the eleventh i think, and what a great night for me laura and craig we played a packed out house musta been 100 people in the pub, supporting the dave barron band, it was most enjoyable we got a few free beers and played fighter jupiter without you, stanyerland (which me mum was enjoying) livin on a prayer, sweet home alabama, craig had a few beers down him and followed some girl out the bar , we all got home had a cigar and the next day i went for a walk with me mom and dad and took photos of snowdrops which was ace and we all had an enjoyable time together mum got some good shots, it is cool being in this band is a lot better than the old, we have more fun craig can actually drum and with songs like hearts get bruised, wasted and travelling man as well as stars its just good enjoyable music :)

The Return of The Sunday

So me and Laura have been at rehearsals with our new drummer Craig Stanley over the last two weeks knocking together a setlist of around 7 songs, 5 originals two covers, as well as updating about the band im going to update on everyday life as well, so we will now see how all pans out, Laura has started doing some songwriting which is lovely to see and I am busying up with artwork etc, we try to cram as much of our own life into the band and vice versa, new guy craig is cool seems very enthusiastic and cool, got some nice beats we gel well togethre, GAGA our hamster is at home with me for now whilst i wait for my wife to finish work il attach a pic and get going as there is a cuppa to be made and speaking of cuppa Midlands Kettleheads is here -more of that when i next write.

tinsletown and new year plans

Well that was the end of the Christmas single fundraising although not the end of the Christmas singles dont know how much we have raised yet but Full House magazine donated a 100 pounds so feeling good about that as it will go to my sister Elizabeths charity SHINE - Spinabifida Hydracephalus Information Networking Equality, which means ive surpassed my targets in many ways.We did a great gig at the Robin 2 in Bilston supporting Molly hatchett which was ace,however certain members decided to leave , oh well more fool them, this machine started and will continue with or without them, as it is the new year started great me laura and original naked sunday member coop played at joxer bradys on 5/12/12 playing in order Jupiter Stanyerland, Without You(feat coop) and Simpleman cover of skynyrd was an awesome gig not perfect but just awesome in a rock n roll way, there are plans to finally release this album/e.p in whatever shape i can even if its just demos form im eager to get started, also there is a story that will be printed in the book as well as a hopeful theatre production and show featuring the band that i am currently writing heres to 2012 and some more fun :) best of all me and coop have a great friendship again and my wife is amaing and gets on with him and his mrs Jennifer Dean :)
